Have you ever experienced an obstacle or had a life experience that stirred you to act? Krista Kasper at age 27, lost her mother to stage IV breast cancer. As painful as this experience was for her as a young woman, she wanted to keep her mother’s legacy alive. She is the Founder and Chair of the Mama Mare Breast Cancer Foundation whose mission is to support women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. This is a heartwarming story of love and legacy.


Krista Kasper, founder and chair of the Mama Mare Breast Cancer Foundation, lost her mom to stage IV breast cancer when she was 27 years old. To keep her mother’s legacy alive while also giving back to others battling breast cancer, Krista started the foundation two short months after her mom passed on Dec. 7, 2009. Krista graduated with a BA in Communication of the Arts from Marymount Manhattan College. She worked as an executive assistant to a Manhattan socialite prior to having children. She now resides in Lehigh Valley,

PA with her loving and supportive husband, Nick and their four children.  Krista is a top producing real estate agent for Home Team Real Estate in Bethlehem, PA. She loves the privilege of walking side by side with her clients on the largest transaction of their lives. When Krista isn’t working in real estate or the foundation, you can find her enjoying her greatest vocation, being a mom! Whether on the sidelines cheering on her children in basketball, soccer or volleyball games, volunteering at her children’s school or driving her kids all over town between dance, youth group, sports practice and piano lessons, her greatest accomplishments are her children, Giana, Nikolaus, Christian & Maryella.
