Karin Schultz is currently serving as President Elect for the ICF Maryland Chapter. As the Owner/CEO of Zone of Potential, LLC, she is a results-oriented executive-level coach and consultant with over 33 years of leadership and intelligence expertise from the US Marine Corps and as a Senior Government Civilian with the Navy and Defense Intelligence Agency. She has extensive experience working directly with executives and an in-depth background in building and developing organizations and cohesive teams to meet business needs.
She is in the process of publishing her first book, Zone of Potential: Make Life Your Favorite ADVENTURE. Her education and certifications include Masters’ Degrees in Business Administration and Cyber Security Policy through UMUC; Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Roger Williams University, Gabelli School; PCC through ICF; certified master neurolinguistics (leadership) programmer; and certifications in Hogan assessments, Emotional Intelligence, and Leadership Versatility Index.
Karin is married to John, a talented master homebuilder and factory trained pool installer. She has a daughter who is in the process of being promoted to Major in the USAF and a stepson who will be a Senior in high school getting ready to graduate. Her hobbies include outdoor adventures, working out, and mind challenging games.
